Nicolas of North highlands, CA chose robbery as his hustle. He repeatedly was incarcerated and after a close call of facing 25 years to life Nicolas decided to make a change. In the final portion of the Astorga series we speak with Maurice Moya, a retired police officer turned private investigator. Moya single-handedly saved Astorga from receiving the death penalty. His expertise led him to evidence that was not spoken on or released during the actual conviction trial. This has led many to believe that had he been working the trial and not the sentencing hearing, Astorga would not have been found guilty at all.
